Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff and the public.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and under limited supervision.
  • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid computer and data entry skills, with experience in administrative services.
  • Experience in dealing with customers and conflict situations.

Responsibilities

  • Register emergency and elective admissions to the Emergency Department promptly and accurately.
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties to meet the diverse needs of the Emergency Department and Medical Records office.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively to support the urgent demands of the service.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and facilitate communication between clinical staff and patients.
  • Provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for patients and visitors.
