About The Position

Sorts, prices, and prepares donated accessories-jewelry, purses, wallets, backpacks, belts, hats etc. for placement in the store. Inspects donated accessories items for overall quality and determines disposition of items based on store manager's direction. Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and/or distribution. Prepares accessory items (belts, purses, wallets, jewelry, backpacks etc.) for the store according to the quality and pricing standards. Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction. Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality. Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine. Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.

Requirements

• Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to walk or stand to a significant degree.
• Must be able to move large boxes, furniture, and other heavy items.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
