About The Position

The Accessories Master Mechanic is responsible for the service, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to ensure airworthiness. This role operates under minimal supervision and is crucial for maintaining the quality, service, and safety standards that ATS is known for in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Airframe and/or Powerplant License.
  • One year as a General Mechanic or three years of related commercial/military aircraft experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to handle and climb ladders and aircraft stairs.

Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
  • Utilize intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area.
  • Repair, modify, replace, or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work in a specialized area of aircraft.
  • Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering data.
  • Conduct operational tests.
  • Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels, keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties.
  • Complete job assignments in a timely manner.
  • Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement, or modification.
  • Accurately clock to jobs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical aircraft components.
  • Utilize OEM and Engineering drawings to modify components.
  • Test aircraft hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical aircraft components.
