About The Position

This position will support the University of Alberta’s Accessible Spaces project. Selected candidates will spend roughly 20 hours per week moving through University of Alberta campuses, taking detailed measurements and completing standardized accessibility audits of building entrances, washrooms, elevators, classrooms and more. These audits will be used to support greater accessible experiences for students, staff and visitors with disabilities who use our campuses. Although the majority of auditing will be conducted on U of A’s North Campus, some members of the team will be required to complete audits on Campus Saint-Jean, as well as Augustana (Camrose), South Campus, and Enterprise Square Campuses.
