About The Position

TestPros is seeking participants for an onsite Smart TV accessibility and closed caption usability testing effort. Participants will evaluate Smart TV closed caption features and accessibility usability, including finding and enabling closed caption settings, navigating settings using the remote control, previewing caption customization options, font size, color, and display settings, readability and usability of captions, and consistency and persistence of settings across programs and applications. No technical experience is required, but participants must be 18 years or older and willing to provide feedback regarding their experience using TV accessibility features. Participants representing a variety of accessibility experiences are sought, including limited hearing/hard-of-hearing individuals, deaf individuals, cochlear implant users, and neurodivergent individuals (including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or similar conditions). The testing group will include at least one participant representing each category.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Willing to provide feedback regarding their experience using TV accessibility features.
Represent a variety of accessibility experiences, including: limited hearing / hard-of-hearing individuals, deaf individuals, cochlear implant users, neurodivergent individuals (including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or similar conditions).
