About The Position

This company is looking for an Accessibility/ADA Tester to help update their applications from WCAG version 2.0 to 2.1. This is due to Federal guidelines and the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). This team is responsible for testing accessibility standards, specific to web and mobile applications. This testing will be manual.

Requirements

• Must be local to Lansing, MI area
• Experience testing accessibility standards for web and mobile applications
• Experience with manual testing
• Experience with screen readers and other assistive technology
• Experience documenting review results
• Experience providing results to application support teams and stakeholders

Nice To Haves

• Experience updating applications from WCAG version 2.0 to 2.1

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of the websites and applications for adherence with the company Digital Standards for Websites and Applications
• Test for digital accessibility using manual and automated tools including screen reader and other assistive technology
• Review for adherence with additional standards including branding
• Perform testing on web, desktop and mobile devices
• Thoroughly document review results
• Provide results to application support teams and stakeholders and meet with teams to explain results
