About The Position
Info Origin Inc. is looking for Accessibility Remediation Technicians to support a government document remediation project. The role involves reviewing and updating electronic documents to meet accessibility requirements.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Equidox PDF Remediation Software.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro or similar PDF editing tools.
- Strong computer and document-processing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with document processing, QA, data entry, or records management.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity/quality requirements.
- Must be local to Atlanta, GA.
- Remote position; candidates must have their own computer/equipment and reliable high-speed internet.
- Ability to remotely access DCH systems through WebLink.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of WCAG or Section 508.
- Experience with digital accessibility or assistive technologies.
- Government or public-sector document remediation experience.
Responsibilities
- Remediate accessibility issues in PDF, Word, PowerPoint, and other electronic documents.
- Use Equidox PDF Remediation Software and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Fix document tags, headings, reading order, tables, lists, links, images, and document properties.
- Perform accessibility checks and quality reviews.
- Process a high volume of documents accurately and efficiently.
- Track completed and pending documents.
- Follow established procedures and escalate complex issues when needed.
