Access VR Summer Employment Intern
About The Position
This is a Summer Employment Internship program sponsored by Access VR. Eligibility for the program is identified by Access VR and Rockland Employment Services. YAI, the organization offering the internship, was founded in 1957 with a mission to provide innovative services for the intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) community. Initially serving seven people, YAI has grown to a team of over 4,000 employees, supporting over 20,000 individuals with conditions like autism, Down syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy. Operating throughout Downstate New York and Northern New Jersey, YAI offers more than 300 programs for people of all ages. The organization is driven by a mission of living, loving, working, and learning, aiming to empower the people they support to reach their goals.
