About The Position

Valiant is looking for an Access Controller to join their team. This role is responsible for confirming the security status of individuals entering the building, issuing badges, and reporting any irregularities to the Site Manager. The position also involves updating security clearance lists, performing hourly rounds during weekends, maintaining the cleanliness of the guard station, and being available for any required shift, including weekends. The Access Controller will also perform other tasks as assigned by the Site Manager or their representative. The pay rate is $19.86 plus pay in lieu of time off per CBA, with the final offer considering market data, business needs, internal equity, role responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and training. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent certification.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance. Active Secret preferred.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English.
Must present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor at all times.
Must be able to work well with all levels of Military and Civilian personnel.
Must be computer literate and be able to use and access basic computer programs (Microsoft products, Excel, PDF etc.).
Ability to obtain a US Passport.
Possess a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Active Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

Confirm security status of all individuals who enter the building and issue the required badge.
Report any irregularities or problems to the Site Manager for resolution.
Update and maintain an accurate security clearance lists when provided by the appropriate authorities.
During the weekends the guard will make hourly rounds of the facility.
Be responsible for the cleanliness of the guard station.
Willing to work any shift required to include weekend duty as required.
Perform other task as assigned by the Site Manager or his designated representative.
