Requirements

Must be able to work either 1st (6:00am-2:00pm +/- 1 hour), 2nd (2:00pm-10:00pm +/- 1 hour), or 3rd (10:00pm-6:00am +/- 1 hour) shift or half of one of these shifts (this option is limited) based on contract needs.
Currently hold an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph.
Must commit to working either 8 hours weekly (weekend shift), 16 hours weekly every other weekend (limited availability), or 2, 4-hour weekday shifts (limited availability).
Must maintain a valid state driver’s license in good standing.
High School diploma or GED.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Currently live within a 75 mile radius of Annapolis Junction, MD.
Read, speak, and understand English language fluently.
Aware that work location will be in a restricted mobile communication zone and comfortable leaving mobile device at home or in car.
20/20 vision (glasses and contacts count) and close vision correctable to Jaeger No. 4 type test for both eyes.
Free of color blindness.
Normal fields of vision and good depth perception, as defined by the Snellen chart.
Hearing which is correctable to normal level hearing with hearing aids. Normal hearing levels are demonstrated by a pure tone audiometry hearing level (HL) of 0 decibels (dB) or lower.
Able to stand continuously for 4 hours at a time.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control the access of employees and visitors in and out of restricted areas by ensuring people have the proper identification.
Ensure that prohibited and restricted items do not find their way into or out of the building.
Give employees and visitors directions and provide excellent customer service.
Support 24/7 operations and may be assigned challenging shifts.
