About The Position

We're hiring an Access Control & Security Systems Technician to support commercial projects throughout the Savannah area. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians looking to gain experience with access control, CCTV, security systems, and integrated building technologies while building a long-term career in a growing industry. Previous access control experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with experience in cabling, electrical work, telecom, fire alarm, maintenance, or security installations are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical, installation, construction, or maintenance role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to read basic blueprints and project drawings
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Ability to work from ladders and lifts

Responsibilities

• Install and support access control systems
• Install card readers, badge readers, and door hardware
• Mount and install CCTV and IP camera systems
• Pull, route, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
• Install mag locks, electric strikes, door contacts, and related hardware
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device layouts
• Assist with system upgrades and renovation projects
• Troubleshoot security and low-voltage systems in the field
• Maintain quality workmanship and safety standards
