About The Position

Securitas is seeking Access Control Screening Officers to join their Security Team. This role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of property and personnel. The position requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, potentially including climbing stairs and navigating uneven terrain. Physical requirements may include lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Pass a lifetime background and drug test.
Valid Driver's license.
High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent communication skills.
Professional demeanor.
Professional appearance: Visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless authorized.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Pass our drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Perform frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time.
Perform occasional climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Perform frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
