About The Position

B&P Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Access Control Officer to support Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Access Control Officer and Escort Support Services. This role involves providing access control services for government facility locations, controlling the movement of personnel, equipment, and media, and ensuring adherence to security protocols.

Requirements

  • Active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience utilizing security systems such as DISS or Scattered Castles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications.
  • Ability to perform prolonged walking, standing, sitting, and stooping for up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders/instructions, and training materials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide access control services for government facility locations.
  • Control access of personnel, equipment, and media going into and out of the INSCOM and/or MSC secure facilities.
  • Visually determine, through face-to-face ID checks, that personnel accessing the SCIF have the specific badge required for facility access.
  • Verify that personnel bringing in or exiting the facility with equipment and media have the Government-issued and approved equipment and media entry/exit authorization forms.
  • Issue ESCORT REQUIRED badges to all un-cleared personnel including official visitors, unofficial visitors, foreign visitors, custodial, maintenance and repair services providers, and construction workers.
  • Ensure security clearance and SCI access levels of all visitors requesting access to the SCIF are verified in Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or Scattered Castles.
  • Issue appropriate visitor badges to cleared visitors (government and contractors) per the approved Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and notify sponsors of visitor arrival.
  • Conduct random entry/exit inspections in accordance with the local Entry/Exit Inspection Program (EEIP).
  • Inspect and ensure personnel bringing in approved equipment and media have the appropriate Government issued and approved and valid equipment/media entry/exit authorization form.
  • Utilize Central Monitoring Stations (CMS) including Lenel for 100% access verification and validation for all cleared and un-cleared individuals utilizing Government facilities.
  • Maintain a shift log in accordance with Post and INSCOM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain sign-in sheets for cleared and un-cleared visitors for the facility.
  • Provide an equipment and log inventory of government furnished equipment within 15 minutes of each shift change and maintain a log of accountability.
  • Provide immediate notification of any and all attempts to gain forceful entry, hostage conditions, fire, medical emergency, and any other life-threatening situations (i.e. bomb threats) to DA police, (local police as a secondary measure) and/or any other applicable emergency team (e.g., fire and rescue).
