Access and Escort Specialist
About The Position
Koniag Technology Solutions, Inc, a Koniag Government Services Company, is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated Access and Escort Specialist with strong knowledge of visitor procedures. The Specialist will support KTS and our government customer at the FBI Quantico Complex in Quantico, VA. This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and offers competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package. The role requires flexibility to alternate schedules and locations, including after-hours and weekends, with potential for shifts or reporting to alternate locations without significant advance notice. Cooperation and flexibility are essential.
Requirements
- Top Secret security clearance
- Strong knowledge of visitor procedures
- Flexibility and willingness to alternate schedules to staff any of the support locations and construction projects during designated working hours, after-hours, and weekends.
- Ability to shift schedule or report to an alternate location without significant advance notice.
- Demonstrate cooperation and flexibility when directed to staff a location during any of the identified work hours.
Responsibilities
- Wear appropriate safety equipment in accordance with OSHA standards and required by federal law and designated clothing and footwear.
- Stand / walk for long periods throughout the workday.
- Escort personnel in various environments such as on construction sites, in office space, or on tours.
- Process visitor requests and / or requests for site access.
- Supports limited background investigations through collecting paperwork and fingerprinting.
- Support physical security specialists in conducting basic facility checks, ensure all security standards are in place, and ensure physical security equipment is operational.
- Report suspicious activities to police, guards, or designated FBI officials.
- Create/Issue badges for various sites, restrict or control access to sensitive areas.
- Positively identify authorized personnel through established parameters.
- Operate all associated IT equipment related to responsible tasks.
