About The Position

TheraDynamics is a therapist-owned company with over 20 years of clinical experience. Our outpatient clinics serve a wide range of orthopedic, sports, and neurological patients, utilizing advanced equipment and evidence-based practices. This role involves evaluating Access-A-Ride (AAR) applicants to determine their need for transportation services and their suitability for the MTA AAR program, ensuring adherence to MTA guidelines and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Associate Degree in Licensed Practical Nursing.
Current state license and registration.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated competency in assessment and evaluation principles.

Responsibilities

Conforms with the AAR MTA guidelines in formulating MTA AAR recommendations.
Reviews related medical records and previous recommendations to inform evaluations.
Screens, evaluates, and assesses MTA AAR applicants.
Reviews medical information and conducts screenings to determine patient need for transport services and ability to benefit from the MTA AAR program.
Coordinates and communicates with the AAR Supervisor to resolve concerns regarding applicant documentation.
Engages in continual professional growth and development through continuing education and training.
Maintains accurate daily billing information.
Adheres to documentation requirements of the Rehabilitation department and the facility.
Completes documentation within acceptable timeframes.
Conducts staff training and education through in-services and consultations.
