About The Position

Plug and Play Tech Center is seeking an Accelerator Director to manage its accelerator programs in Princeton, NJ. This role involves building a pipeline of corporate partners, managing the P&L for the Princeton location, and driving sales growth. The director will also be responsible for curriculum management, ensuring programs are designed to maximize value for startups and partners. Additionally, the role includes startup matchmaking, acting as the 'face' of Plug and Play in Princeton, fostering relationships with innovation stakeholders, and coordinating events. Relationship management with funding partners and participating stakeholders is crucial, requiring a commitment to partner satisfaction and timely reporting.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business, Management, Business Development, or Science.
  • 3-5 years of prior experience selling technology products into corporations or selling corporate solutions, industry initiatives, startup, or investing environments.
  • Deep passion for entrepreneurship, AI, technology, and innovation.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in strong leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Public speaking ability.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build a robust pipeline of corporate partners from across the Princeton metro area to participate in the program.
  • Manage the P&L of Plug and Play Princeton, driving sales growth and expanding the program's reach.
  • Sign corporate partners to drive revenue and deliver more value for participating startups.
  • Collaborate with the Plug and Play Programs Team to develop the 12-week curriculum for upcoming cohorts, ensuring it maximizes value for startups and partners.
  • Create a weekly timeline of content for startups, including mentorship sessions and digital materials.
  • Stay updated on relevant industry-specific issues.
  • Work with each startup to define metrics for success (funding, paid pilots, hiring) over the next 3-6 months.
  • Ensure deal flow and mentorship sessions are engaging for startups and aligned with their goals during the 3-month program.
  • Act as the 'face' of Plug and Play in Princeton, developing strong relationships with key innovation stakeholders.
  • Attend tech events in the area to build brand awareness and occasionally travel to global locations for events.
  • Coordinate logistics with the team to plan and execute program events, inviting corporate partners to participate.
  • Maintain relationships with funding partners and participating stakeholders.
  • Go 'above and beyond' to ensure partner satisfaction and meet their needs.
  • Work with the team to collect data and deliver timely reporting to funding partners.
