Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science related field
7 + years' experience in laboratory setting with a focus in Corrosion and Physical testing preferred
Can articulate and negotiate well with team and customers
Proficient in presenting at business and technical level
Skilled in Microsoft Office
Familiar with Laboratory Management System (LIMS)
Statistical & Quality background
Proficient at reviewing ASTM, SAE, etc. methods for proper execution
Independent critical thinking for process improvements & troubleshooting

Responsibilities

Manage Team daily activities
Manage & participate in long-term projects
Coordinate with customers for priorities of projects
Manage and maintain Quality Standards (ISO 9001, ISO 16949, ISO 17025)
Interface with internal/external stakeholders for growth and planning
Maintain current ASTM, SAE, etc. to keep with current standards
Manage inventory, housekeeping and safety for laboratories
Track and highlight contributions through tours, newsletters, presentations, etc.
Provide technical guidance through experience and critical thinking
