About The Position

Coleman Elementary is seeking a part-time Title I Academic Support Specialist to provide targeted math and literacy instruction to students who need additional academic support. The role focuses on small-group and one-on-one interventions and collaboration with classroom teachers and support staff to improve student achievement and close learning gaps.

Requirements

• Must hold a Rhode Island Elementary Teaching Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of math and literacy instructional strategies.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and promoting equity.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction in math and literacy to identified students.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align interventions with the core curriculum.
