About The Position

The College of Arts and Humanities (CAH) Dean's Office is hiring an Academic Support Coordinator II to join their team. This position plays an important role in supporting the college's academic operations through course scheduling coordination, curriculum support, enrollment analysis, and student success initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting data to decision-making and has a strong interest in higher education administration. You'll work with a variety of systems and tools to track academic trends, support curriculum updates, and provide information that helps college leadership, departments, and schools plan effectively for future student demand. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with academic leaders throughout the college and contribute directly to initiatives that support student success and the ongoing development of academic programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
  • All applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H‑1B transfers or employment-based visa processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and coordinates CAH's schedule in PeopleSoft. Coordinates with CAH's school and department schedulers, Director, Academic Support Services, and Assistant Dean to support the implementation and effectiveness of academic programs and services to meet student demand to the extent possible. Possesses knowledge of CAH's major, minor, and certificate programs.
  • Collects, analyzes, and reports scheduling and program data to assess academic outcomes and inform improvements. Regular reporting includes but is not limited to low enrollment, SCH tracking, course waitlists, and enrollment trend history.
  • Supports college-level curriculum review process, including tracking annual course and program changes. Includes implementing audit, Pegasus Path, and prerequisite updates, as needed.
  • Provides data support for annual college reporting and department and school reports. Includes tracking student headcounts, graduation and retention rates, Student Credit Hour (SCH) production, and more.
  • Uses existing technologies and data tools (PeopleSoft, MKS, Pegasus Path, Insights Dashboard, CAH Power BI dashboard, Ad Astra, etc.) to support Assistant Dean with the delivery and continuous improvement of academic support services, including scheduling, curricular, student success, enrollment, and strategic planning efforts.
  • Supports recruitment efforts for CAH's majors, minors, and certificates by providing program information and promoting awareness of CAH's academic programs and course offerings.
