Provides direct student-facing support to undergraduate students enrolled at the university. Utilizes a wide range of software, student development theory, and retention-focused strategies. Working under direct supervision to support students by performing specific, articulated goals and outcomes. ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation (MLFC) seeks a collaborative, student-centered Academic Success Advisor who is passionate about helping learners navigate their educational journey and achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. At MLFC, advising extends beyond course selection and degree planning. Academic Success Advisors serve as trusted partners who connect students to the people, resources, experiences, and opportunities that support persistence, belonging, and career readiness. This position serves as part of a superteam, a multidisciplinary team organized around student populations and academic pathways to provide coordinated, student-centered support. Advisors work as part of an integrated team that shares responsibility for student success and leverages the collective expertise of colleagues across advising, student support, career development, field experiences, enrollment services, and academic programs.
