About The Position

The Academic Programs & Project Coordinator, Senior, facilitates work focused on student success, in collaboration with units across divisions of the university. The College of Arts and Sciences is home to a vibrant community of academic departments and programs. We offer a robust research and creative activity portfolio and support the work of our faculty, staff, and students by applying strategic and innovative approaches to the business of Higher Education. We are excited to hire a Senior Academic Programs and Projects Coordinator for The School for the Digital Futures - Society for Ideas.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage/coordinate projects and navigate multiple task streams, and ensure work is carried out in a timely fashion.
  • Strong ability to think analytically and critically.
  • Excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to foster inclusive work environments and work effectively and collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work independently to solve problems and seek resolution.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus 5 years experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Seven years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience and three years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee processes related to the development and ongoing revisions of academic related initiatives.
  • Contribute to institutional change related to student success by supporting continuous improvement action planning, assessment, and modifications.
  • Conduct research and summarize data to inform decision making, evaluate program effectiveness or alternatives, and to inform program development.
  • Coordinate integration of projects and track workflow to monitor progress.
  • Monitor student data dashboards and compile reports related to student success.
  • Establish timelines and communications with appropriate academic units and coordinate logistics.
  • Review and resolve complex issues and concerns related to student academic-related issues.
  • Responsible for performing advanced coordinative and administrative duties to support the specified department.
  • This role now involves leadership in planning, developing, and managing program initiatives that contribute to the university's academic goals and strategic priorities.
  • The incumbent will work with senior university officials, faculty, and external partners to oversee and direct complex academic program activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
