Requirements

Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program
Licensed (or license-eligible) to practice in Massachusetts
Board certified or board eligible in optometry

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive eye exams
Provide emergency follow up care
Provide glaucoma co-management
Provide vision rehabilitation services
Provide same day service care
Prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses as needed
Perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations
Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of ocular diseases and conditions
Prescribe corrective lenses and therapeutic treatments
Provide urgent and emergency eye care when needed
Exercise autonomy in clinical decision making
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the system
Ensure continuity of care for patients throughout the system
Outpatient clinic within a large, academic medical center
Serve a diverse patient population with a robust referral base
