MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for a 12-month, full-time Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, at the rank of Assistant Professor to join our Department of Occupational Therapy. The Academic Fieldwork Coordinator is responsible for alignment and delivery of experiential components of the OTD curriculum. They ensure the program’s compliance with ACOTE fieldwork standards and oversight of clinical partnerships for level II fieldwork experiences. Responsibilities include teaching in our top-ranked US News World Report Entry – Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program, scholarship, supervising student research, advising graduate students and working closely with administrative fieldwork staff and faculty. Faculty also provide service to the department, Institute, and community. The ideal faculty member is a generalist in occupational therapy practice and education with expectation of a line of scholarship inquiry and doctoral capstone mentorship, who also has experience in clinical education. This position may also include supervision of OT services in our student-led pro bono center to support our clinical education placements.
