About The Position

Discovery Ranch South is a licensed, accredited residential treatment center for adolescent students, located on a large private ranch on the outskirts of Cedar City. The Academic Coordinator will work with other departments to facilitate a positive learning environment for students. This role involves working directly with teachers and academic staff to manage scheduling and ensure staff are current on trainings. Discovery Ranch South utilizes a clinically sophisticated, relationship-based residential treatment program that combines traditional and experiential therapies. The Academic Coordinator will join a dedicated team focused on serving students and their families, fostering healing and lasting change through healthy relationships, challenging experiences, and a strengths-based approach.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older.
• Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle check.
• Must have a current Utah driver's license.
• Must have basic math and strong computer skills & learn new software quickly.
• Must have effective time management skills, strong boundaries, be a good listener, and adhere to rules and regulations.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Work well in a team setting environment.

Nice To Haves

• Academic middle or high school experience is preferred.
• Strong organization skills and team leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
