About The Position

The Academic Coach at LaVenture Club helps school-age youth approach learning with curiosity, confidence, and a willingness to explore new possibilities. The role provides homework support, strengthens academic skills, and creates engaging enrichment experiences that make learning meaningful and fun.

The Academic Coach encourages problem-solving, celebrates progress, and helps youth understand that mistakes are part of learning. By building positive relationships and maintaining a supportive environment, the coach helps young people develop skills and confidence that extend beyond the classroom. The role also collaborates with Club staff, families, schools, and community partners to support student success and create opportunities for growth.
