About The Position

One-on-One Teaching + Executive Function Coaching. The best coaches do more than explain academic content - they help students become confident, independent learners. At The Enrichery, you’ll combine subject-matter support with executive functioning instruction, teaching skills like organization, time management, prioritization, study strategies, and follow-through. This isn’t traditional tutoring or homework help - it’s an opportunity to become a trusted mentor and make an impact that lasts far beyond the next test.

Requirements

Demonstrated strength in one or more of the following areas: Elementary and Middle School Language Arts, History, Natural Sciences, Math through Algebra I, Executive functioning and study skills
Demonstrated strength in one or more of the following areas: High School STEM Geometry, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Calculus BC, Executive functioning and study skills
Demonstrated strength in one or more of the following areas: High School Humanities AP Literature, AP U.S. History, AP World History, Executive functioning and study skills
Academically strong and can demonstrate mastery in the subjects you want to coach
Can explain challenging content clearly and in more than one way
Understand that strong coaching addresses both academic content and the habits behind student success
Know how to connect with students and make learning feel approachable
Care about building confidence and independence— not simply completing assignments
Dependable, prepared, and committed to the students you work with
Welcome feedback and enjoy learning from experienced educators
Currently attending or have graduated from a four-year university
Can commit to a consistent weekly schedule of at least 15 hours
Available for at least four hours on Sundays

Nice To Haves

ISEE preparation is a plus
ACT, SAT, or ISEE preparation is a plus

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with elementary, middle, or high school students
Explain academic content clearly and adapt your approach when a student isn’t understanding
Help students strengthen executive functioning skills such as planning, organization, time management, task initiation, and study strategies
Build meaningful relationships that help students feel supported and capable
Coach students toward greater confidence, independence, and responsibility
Maintain a consistent schedule of recurring weekly sessions
