About The Position

The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certification or board eligibility in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology is required. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching. Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with classical or malignant hematologic conditions and/or solid tumors. There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership. Research is not a requirement of the academic clinician track; however selected candidates may engage in clinical investigation. Experience and/or advanced training in the conduct of clinical trials is not required.

Requirements
