Clackamas Community College (CCC) seeks to hire an Academic & Career Coach. This is a part-time, non-union, non-exempt, and non-benefits-eligible position which will work a minimum of 3 days in-person a week on the Oregon City Campus. Remote work may be an option after 6 months of employment. This position works within a team of 15 full and part time staff in the Advising Department. PURPOSE OF POSITION: Advisors are responsible for informing prospective, new, returning, and current students of academic programs, degree and career options, registration processes, college policies, and transfer procedures while providing excellent customer service to their assigned student caseload. Advisors will collaborate with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners in a proactive case management process to facilitate the development of intentional educational and career plans to help students achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals. Advisors play an essential role in the implementation of student services activities to increase retention rates, course completion rates, and/or transfer to either a college/university or the workforce.
