USC Marshall School of Business's Office of Undergraduate Advising and Student Affairs is seeking an Academic Advisor. This office supports the education and development of undergraduate students by providing academic support and student engagement programs and services, including academic advisement, internal transfer admissions, new student orientation, scholarships, honors, and awards, and student organization support. The office advises over 4300 undergraduate majors and 1400 minors and currently operates on a hybrid work schedule. Academic Advisors are the primary point of contact for students throughout their undergraduate experience, offering guidance on academic planning and policies, and providing holistic advising that addresses academic, personal, and professional development needs. They manage individual caseloads, conduct proactive outreach to students facing academic setbacks, connect students with campus resources, develop success plans, monitor degree progress, and intervene to ensure timely graduation. The team also handles internal transfer processes, minor admissions, emphasis declarations, specialized advising for joint-degree programs, and coordinates new student orientation for both Marshall and Leventhal students.
