Academic Advisor (2026-2027) Anticipated Vacancy
About The Position
This is a temporary 1-year assignment for the 2026-2027 school year. Employment with Pasco County Schools will end after the current school year in which the tutoring role began. The District is not obligated to offer a position for the following school year. The role is located at Woodland Elementary and New River Elementary, requiring 2.5 days per week at each location. This is an Instructional Position for 196 Days and is Full-time, Benefit-Eligible. The Academic Advisor is responsible for organizing and implementing a comprehensive academic support program that includes support services, while fostering academic and career growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education, or related field OR Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification OR Valid statement of eligibility
- Fingerprinting and Level II background screening
