About The Position

The School of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi seeks an Academic Advisor. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Minimum education requirements include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. The successful candidate for this position will support students in the School of Business Administration by providing information to students and potential students concerning admission requirements, degree requirements, course selection, and related functions by utilizing undergraduate and graduate catalogs as well as other information. This person also interfaces with academic areas and applicable administrative offices to ensure compliance with current requirements and academic policies. They maintain student records in order to monitor student academic progress throughout their degree programs. Finally, they assist recruiting, verification of transfers, and other related or similar duties as required.
