About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Administrative Manager, this position advises our continuing undergraduate MAE students (sophomore – senior standing) on a wide range of academic issues, assists with the planning and development of signature advising programs, and will make recommendations to the MAE administrative team and Department Chair as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years experience in student advising, supervision or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to advise and provide solutions to problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree
  • Master's degree in Student Personnel Administration, Counseling, or other appropriate field.
  • 2+ years experience advising students at the college or university level, preferably in engineering or similar discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Advises continuing undergraduate MAE students (sophomore – senior standing) on a wide range of academic issues.
