About The Position

This position is responsible for performing A/C filter changing work while maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. The role involves completing work orders, documenting labor and materials, assisting other technicians, and conducting preventive maintenance on A/C filter systems. The employee will also be responsible for driving District vehicles safely and adhering to all traffic laws.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required in English
Over one (1) year related experience.
A valid Texas Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Performs A/C filter changing work assigned while maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness and efficiency.
Completes all A/C filter work orders and emergency calls.
Documents all labor hours, supplies and materials used to complete work orders, and general preventive maintenance work.
Assists other AC technicians when required.
Conducts preventive maintenance work on A/C filter systems within the District.
Drives District vehicles to and from work site; obeys all traffic laws.
Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties.
Maintains confidentiality.
Maintains a high level of ethical behavior as is expected of all District employees.
Maintains professional growth by attending in-service and meetings as requested/required.
Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Director.
