About The Position

The AC Estimator will design HVAC ductwork systems through the use of cutting-edge software. This role is responsible for the sizing, designing, and costing of HVAC duct system installations in Residential New Construction Homes. The estimator will design efficient HVAC systems in accordance with company procedures and industry guidelines, as well as per local, state, and federal building and energy conservation codes. They will also perform code compliance energy calculations per municipality, accurate equipment and material takeoffs from design drawings, and manage multiple tasks while meeting or exceeding stated deadlines. Collaboration with other estimators, sales staff, field supervisors, and the operations manager is expected for updating design master layouts and estimates. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two years of related experience required.
• At least one year experience in HVAC design and estimating.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Wright soft Right-Suite and Energy Gauge software, and CAD preferred. (Willing to train the right Candidate.)
