ABX LOAD VERIFIER II (Aircraft) 3rd Shift
About The Position
The ABX Load Verifier II works alongside aircraft loading crews to verify cargo locations, proper cargo restraint, and adherence to ABX COMAT procedures. The role documents cargo weights, checks that the SABLE Weight and Balance Loadsheet aligns with the Ramp Load Verification Sheet (RLVS), and immediately notifies local operational leadership of loading discrepancies that must be resolved before loading is completed. The verifier independently performs load verification during loading operations and may travel with the plane to alternative stations as assigned. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Able to withstand outdoor and adverse working conditions.
- Able to pass a TSA Security Assessment and Criminal History Records Check.
- Able to obtain US airport SIDA access.
Responsibilities
- Observe loading of Unit Load Devices (ULD) on ABX aircraft.
- Observe loading of bulk cargo on ABX aircraft.
- Document the weights for all ULDs and bulk cargo on the ABX Ramp Load Verification Sheet (RLVS).
- Ensure all cargo is properly restrained.
- Ensure all ABX COMAT procedures are followed.
- Ensure the SABLE Weight and Balance Loadsheet aligns with the RLVS.
- Immediately communicate identified cargo or restraint issues to local operational leadership.
- Travel with the plane to alternative stations, as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Independently perform load verification during the loading operation.
