Abrasive Blaster/Shop Laborer
About The Position
Kraft Werks Engineering, a division of Ridgecrest Ventures, is a privately owned company located in Medina, Ohio. We are currently recruiting for one Shop Labor/Abrasive Blaster to join our team. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated individual who will be able to meet challenges and surpass customer expectations. Shop Laborer- Abrasive Blaster Job Responsibilities. Perform daily duties associated with a Fabrication, Weld and Machine Shop operation per work order instructions both verbal or written. Abrasive Blast utilizing steel grit or glass bead processes including basic maintenance and housekeeping of abrasive blasting equipment and area. Cleaning material surfaces after machining/welding by grinding, solvent cleaning, wire brushing etc. Painting components with roller or brush. Assist in machine shop with removing chips from machines. Perform other duties assigned by supervisor. Laborer Skills/Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with operation of forklifts. Experience with overhead cranes. Experience with operating abrasive blasting equipment. Experience with grinders, drills, pressure washer, basic hand tools and etc. Experience with oxy-fuel torches and plasma cutter. Capable of lifting, pulling, pushing, standing for long periods of time. Experience in a manufacturing job shop would be a plus. Requirements
