We are looking for teammates who are: Eager to use their interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with customers and organizations Committed to customer service and interested in helping others Dependable, focused, and flexible Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of independently prioritizing tasks Ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment What you will do: You will apply knowledge of Alcohol Beverage License (ABL) Laws, regulations, and policies to examine and analyze applications, schedules, and other documentation to determine compliance with SC laws to approve or deny ABL licenses/permits. Primary job duties include: Analyzing, interpreting data, and conducting research to determine compliance with ABL laws to approve or deny ABL licenses/permits Receiving all in-state permanent ABL application packets Performing initial review and analysis and setting up applications in the SCDOR processing system Collecting all fees and preparing financials for deposit processing Transmitting application information to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) for field investigations Communicating with employees and customers to assist and educate Consulting with SCDOR personnel, county officials, and state officials to resolve basic ABL issues Researching, interpreting, and citing ABL laws, regulations, and internal guidelines to gain knowledge and a basic understanding of ABL compliance requirements
