About The Position

We are actively hiring for the position of ABG Operator for our plant in Van Nuys, CA. This role operates on the 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday, from 1:30pm to 10pm. The ABG Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the ABG machine, ensuring efficient and accurate production, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set the workload for the day
Get the printed rolls from the table to mount them on the roller that will feed them through the machine
Set up the correct rolling die to cut the shape on the job, passing through, and ensure the cutters are at the correct length to cut the job
Observe the ABG machine while running to make any adjustments and ensure a smooth and accurate count and correct cut
Replace worn-out blades on cutters and adjust/clean rollers to ensure safe and accurate operation
Record production and operational data using IMS system, such as entering completed jobs
Report all workplace hazards to management immediately
Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and are free of any safety hazards.
Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
Must be proactive in completing other duties as assigned.
