Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic construction techniques
  • Knowledge of asbestos handling and removal, mold or lead based paint removal or demolition and deconstruction operations
  • Must possess an active Asbestos Supervisor Certification
  • Must possess and maintain an active driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Able to lift 50 lbs unaided
  • Able to stand and climb on ladders
  • Able to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Effective with communication, organization, problem-solving, and leading a team

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all asbestos projects including planning, execution, and completion
  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians
  • Run air samples and maintain chain of custody
  • Frequent checks inside containment to maintain quality of work and making sure production is on time
  • Drive company vehicles to and from job sites
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment and materials on job sites
  • Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental laws, and company polices through all phases of abatement
  • Oversee disposal of asbestos containing materials
  • Ensuring job sites are left clean of debris and trash
  • Maintain shop area
