About The Position

Join Precious Care ABA as a Behavior Tech Rockstar! This role involves working one-on-one with children with autism in their homes, helping them learn, grow, and gain life-changing skills. It's a hands-on position where every session is different, and no formal experience is required as experienced BCBAs will provide training and mentorship. The goal is to turn everyday moments into opportunities for learning and progress.

Requirements

Ability to travel to client homes (valid driver's license and reliable transportation).
Ability to read and write English.
Ability to work hands-on with children.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with kids (babysitting, childcare, teaching assistant roles, camp counseling, coaching, or caregiving).
High school diploma and one ABA-related course (e.g., RBT training) recommended.
Experience in education or autism-related field recommended.
Knowledgeable about basic ABA terms (training will be provided).
Knowledgeable about data collection software (training will be provided).
Works collaboratively with coworkers and clients’ families.
Follows supervisor directions and treatment plan, and asks questions when needed.
Patient and compassionate, especially while working with clients exhibiting challenging behaviors.
Goal-oriented and organized.
Consistent and reliable.
Acts professionally in a variety of environments.
Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and the needs of the client.

Responsibilities

Work and play one-on-one with children with autism or developmental delays, helping them build communication, social, and life skills.
Collect data, celebrate wins, and document meaningful progress during each session.
Work alongside families to ensure skills learned in therapy carry into everyday life.
