About The Position

Achievement Behavior Services (ABS) is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their home environment throughout Hudson County, NJ. Founded in 2015 by BCBAs and LCSWs, ABS provides individualized in home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to help children strengthen communication, independence, and daily living skills. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in psychology, education, behavioral health, or working with children.

Requirements

• Psychology background
• Applied Behavior Analysis background
• Special Education background
• Speech Pathology background
• Occupational Therapy background
• Experience working with children

Nice To Haves

• RBT certification
• Spanish speaking

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy with a student in their home
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Use ABA strategies such as prompting, reinforcement, modeling, and redirection
• Track and document student progress during each session
• Communicate effectively with families and supervisors
