About The Position

MTS Kids is a pediatric private practice located in Spartanburg and Greenville, SC, seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join an innovative, center-based model focused on quality and excellent mentorship. This position is available for full-time and part-time hours at our Greenville clinic. We strive to provide the bridge that takes skills learned in therapy into everyday activities, integrating the latest research and technology with a child's development while recognizing their individuality. We offer a welcoming, collaborative environment that promotes idea sharing and growth, with strong BCBA oversight and a great team of Speech and Occupational Therapists.

Requirements

  • RBT designation required within 90 days of employment
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • MUST have excellent attendance
  • Relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Able to provide consistent attention and care for the client, up to 4-hour long sessions
  • Ability to sustain long periods of sitting or standing, and running as-needed
  • Excellent communications skills to effectively interact with patients
  • Ability to bend, squat, lift, and lower a minimum of 20 pounds (must be able to lift and carry clients)
  • Must be able to have flexible scheduling
  • Ability to communicate with your team through phone and email in a timely manner

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate, Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a behavioral health or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual treatment for individuals aged up to 21 years old.
  • Implement learning programs under the supervision of a BCBA and collect data on target behaviors.
  • Deliver skills instruction to clients based upon the principles of applied behavior analysis.
  • Collaborate with caregivers to evaluate and modify the behavior of children with special needs.
  • Assist in providing training and guidance to parents, and other caregivers to help children overcome problems with communication, social skills, attention, or sensory integration.
  • Communicate with therapists and other professionals on the child's progress.
  • Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
