About The Position

FirstSteps is seeking a Mid-Level ABA Supervisor to join their team in Culver City. The FirstSteps Team is inspired by the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential. Their mission is to provide the best evidence-based, behavior analytic treatment to children diagnosed with autism and related learning differences, and to offer a positive, collaborative, and dynamic work experience for their team. As a Program Manager at FirstSteps, you will have the privilege of helping children learn to communicate, develop friendships, succeed in classrooms, and love learning. A FirstSteps Program Manager has the experience and clinical skills to immediately assist in case management under the direct supervision of FirstSteps BCBAs. New Program Managers will provide some direct work with children to ensure familiarity with their compassionate ABA model. After training, the Program Manager will exclusively assist BCBAs with case management, provide center-based supervision, lead social skills groups, collaborate with and support caregivers, analyze client data, and support RBT Instructors.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in progress or completed
  • Active RBT certification preferred
  • A minimum of two years delivering high quality ABA to individuals diagnosed with autism
  • Proof of vaccinations
  • Non-reactive Tuberculosis results
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Proof of auto insurance
  • Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable sitting on floors and or child-sized furniture
  • Capable of moving from a seated position to running stance when needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide some direct 1:1 Compassionate ABA to our incredible kids
  • Assist BCBAs with case supervision and management
  • Mentor instructors and trainees by providing constructive and positive feedback that supports professional development and clinical success
  • Management and oversight of Social Skills Groups
  • Overlaps with Instructors as needed to promote highest quality service delivery and clinical development
  • Positively contribute to all FirstSteps client treatment programs
