About The Position

Bancroft is a leading service-provider for children and adults with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities or those in need of neurological rehabilitation. We provide a full continuum of highly effective services — for people of all ages and every level of abilities — based on best practices and scientifically proven techniques. Our services include special education, vocational training, supported employment, structured day programs, group home and apartment programs both on-campus and in the community, and outpatient rehabilitation services. As an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Clinical Associate at Bancroft’s Lindens Center for Autism, you’ll empower individuals living with autism, intellectual, and/or developmental disabilities to realize their best life. The Lindens Center is one of the most innovative behavioral therapy and residential programs of its kind in the nation. Here, we draw upon our leading expertise, best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis, a home-like setting, and a team approach to help children enjoy significant quality of life improvements.

Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or are currently enrolled in a four-year degree program
  • Have completed a minimum of 60 credits in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Human Services or a related field
  • Want to make a difference in the lives of autistic, intellectually, and developmentally challenged individuals
  • Looking to fill Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday 3pm-11pm shifts

Responsibilities

  • Apply ABA therapy methods and techniques to teach important life skills and help children and teens achieve their goals
  • Carry out ABA behavioral treatment plans and help prepare individuals to eventually transition to other residential environments
  • Provide assistance with activities such as personal hygiene, social awareness, meal preparation, money management, and housekeeping
  • Transport and accompany individuals to appointments and community outings
  • Collect observational data and complete all necessary paperwork
  • Communicate with residents, families, and guardians
