About The Position

Apply ABA therapy methods and techniques to teach important life skills and help children and teens achieve their goals. Carry out ABA behavioral treatment plans and help prepare individuals to eventually transition to other residential environments. Provide assistance with activities such as personal hygiene, social awareness, meal preparation, money management, and housekeeping. Transport and accompany individuals to appointments and community outings. Collect observational data and complete all necessary paperwork. Communicate with residents, families, and guardians.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Six months related work experience, or, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field or currently enrolled in a related college program
  • Must currently hold a Valid Driver's License without restrictions and at least one year driving experience
  • Clean Criminal Background
  • Minimum of 18 years of age required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Developmentally Disabled or brain injury populations is preferred, but not required.
