About The Position

Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate ABA Behavior Technicians to teach young children affected by autism. The company's mission is to make a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families by hiring passionate, caring people to serve children and families affected by autism. It is a part-time opportunity to make a full-time impact in a child's life, bringing calm, protection, and happiness to families and children affected by autism. The treatment involves working directly with the child and family in their natural environment (home, schools, or centers) to teach essential skills like communication, sharing, play, and waiting. The Behavior Technician / Child Interventionist makes sessions fun through play-based activities and receives training to feel confident in instructing children affected by autism. The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, and friendly.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School diploma.
  • A love and Passion for working with children.
  • Interest in learning.
  • Valid driver's license & personal vehicle.
  • Web Enabled Device (laptop or tablet).
  • At least 3 weekdays with the same availability.
  • Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families.

Nice To Haves

  • RBT certification.
  • Bilingual is a Plus.
  • College course work a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (home, schools, or centers).
  • Teach children how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills.
  • Make sessions fun by teaching through play-based activities.
  • Bring calm, protection, and happiness to families and children affected by autism.
