About The Position
We have an incredible in-person case opening up right now for a passionate, dedicated, and caring Behavior Technician looking to make a massive difference in a child's life. This role involves providing 1:1 support to a 16-year-old male client in Port Chester, NY. The client is verbal, functions at a moderate level, and exhibits severe behaviors. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, responsible, and able to provide steady, structured, and compassionate support.
Requirements
- Passionate, dedicated, and caring demeanor.
- Empathetic and responsible.
- Ability to provide steady, structured, and compassionate 1:1 support.
- Experience working with clients exhibiting severe behaviors is a plus.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Experience working with adolescents.
- Experience with clients who are verbal and function at a moderate level.
