Full-time ABA Behavior Technician
About The Position
We are looking for someone who doesn’t mind getting down on the floor to play, getting messy with arts and crafts, and celebrating "small wins" like they’re Olympic gold medals. You’ll work one-on-one with a child in the comfort of their own home, helping them learn life skills through the power of play. At Finni Health of Central Michigan, we don’t believe in "one-size-fits-all" care. We are a small, heart-led practice that treats our therapists and the families we serve like neighbors. We meticulously personalize care because we understand that each child is unique. We work closely with families to set individual goals and track progress, making adjustments whenever needed. Together, we create a supportive and nurturing environment where our kiddos can thrive and develop vital skills.
Requirements
- Completed 40-hour RBT training course.
- Ready to sit for RBT Exam.
- High school diploma.
- At least one year of experience working with children (especially those with special needs).
- Reliable.
- Own transportation.
- Comfortable being active (sitting, kneeling, and playing on the floor).
- Background check required.
Responsibilities
- Using a child’s favorite toys or games to help them learn to communicate and socialize.
- Helping a child master daily routines that make a big difference for their family.
- Keeping track of how they’re doing so we can celebrate every milestone together.
- Working with a supportive mentor (BCBA) to guide you.
