This role involves providing one-on-one support to children with autism and related developmental needs using evidence-based strategies, implementing individualized treatment plans, teaching various skills, collecting data, building relationships with clients and families, and collaborating with a clinical team.
Requirements
- High school diploma, or GED (minimum) and 18+ years old.
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (or related coursework).
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and your own reliable vehicle is required.
- General knowledge of computer systems, including Windows and Google products.
Nice To Haves
- Candidates with evening/after-school availability preferred (sessions typically 2–6 hours, Monday–Friday).
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to children with autism and related developmental needs using evidence-based strategies
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising clinician
- Teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in home, school, or community settings
- Collect data on client progress and adjust support strategies as needed
- Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families
- Collaborate with a clinical team to ensure consistent, high-quality care
- Celebrate small wins that lead to meaningful, life-changing progress
