About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician to join their team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role involves providing 1:1 direct service using evidence-based treatments like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in school and community settings. The technician will be responsible for timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation. The position offers a fun environment where the technician can apply individualized treatments. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
• Availability to work during operation hours of 7:30am – 4:00 pm Monday - Friday.

Nice To Haves

• 3-6 months experience in the division of behavioral health services.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification
• Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Using evidence-based treatments (such as Applied Behavior Analysis – ABA) to provide 1:1 direct service in schools and community settings.
• Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation.
• Apply individualized treatment.
• Other duties as assigned.
